National-

Nitro-X Masters, The Main Event.

September 21st  Bendigo Vic.    A + B semi finals + Masters Final  Entry form

Method

Each state will run a qualification series of 5 events.  The result of this will be a points table for each state.

The Nitro-X Masters

The Nitro-X Masters is the Grand Finale of the year where the highest point scorers according to the rules and points tables, will compete for the Official Title – Nitro-X Master 2008

Entry to The Nitro-X Masters, The Main Event will then be by invitation to the top drivers from each state, based on state by state participation.

 i.e.

20 drivers in Nitro-X Masters, The Main Event

400 drivers entered nationally

 20 / 400 x 100 = 5%

Therefore the top 5% of drivers (rounded) from each state will be invited to participate in Nitro-X Masters 2008, The Main Event.

If an invited driver cannot attend Nitro-X Masters 2008, The Main Event, his place will be offered to the next driver in line from that state.

1.4

Scores from each drivers’ best three qualification rounds to count towards entry eligibility to Nitro-X Masters.  Enter as many qualification events as you like, but only your best 3 scores count.  Ties decided on count-back of throw-out rounds.

Drivers can only accrue points in their home state points table. A driver may race at any Qualification round in the country but only home state race results will count.  The reason for this is to eliminate the possibility of one driver qualifying multiple times for the Nitro-X Masters.

Qualification rounds shall be contested using three heats of qualifiers of 10 mins duration with maximum 10 cars per group, followed by 30 min. A final, 20 min. B final, 10 min.
