Race calendar for 2005 has been roughed out. Any comments?
The first race meeting of the year (January) has been run and won. And with our new AMB transponder system. Yes, at last we have got our own system. This is all thanks to the hard work, dedication, support and participation of racers in Castlemaine and surrounding areas.
We had one minor hardware problem on the day, but otherwise, it ran like a dream.
Word has it that the boys from Mornington are planning a trip up this way in the early part of the year. Come on up guys. And if racers from any other clubs or areas want to come up and race, you will all be made very welcome indeed.
Harcourt Lions Club will be continuing their support of the club in 2005, by providing the catering services for racers and spectators. Thank you very much Marlene, Simon and Doug. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. So guys (racers), please continue to support the Harcourt Lions Club and their work in the community by getting your lunch from them.
Also offering valuable support to the club this year, Harcourt Auto Wreckers graciously donated the club new tyres for the drivers stand. Thank you very much. We truly appreciate the assistance you have given.
