1.0 Classes

 3.0 Motors & ESCs

                3.0.1  2WD RTR

·         Kit motor and ESC only.  Radio open.

3.0.2  2WD Mod.

·         540 size motor (brushed or brushless). Open ESC.

3.0.3  4WD Electric

·         Whatever fits in the chassis

3.0.4  4WD Nitro

·         Whatever fits in the chassis

4.0 Tyres & Wheels

                4.0.1  All classes must use 2.2 x 3.0 CORR wheels.

                4.0.2  All classes.  Any brand of 2.2 x 3.0 CORR truck tyre.  Compound, insert and tread pattern is open.  Strictly no modified tyres.

5.0 Batteries

                5.0.1  All 2WD classes are limited to 2S LiPo or 6 cell NiMH.

                5.0.2  4WD class, What ever fits in the chassis.

6.0 Bodies

                6.0.1  Accepted CORR truck bodies only.  These will include:-

Traxxas Slash/Slayer stock body as appropriate

AE SC-10 / SC-8 stock body as appropriate

Losi Strike stock body

Kyosho Ultima SC stock body

Kyosho DRT stock body

HPI Blitz stock body

Venom SCX Stock Body

Proline Desert Rat

7.0 Race Format

                7.0.1  4 x 6 minute qualification runs per class (See 7.0.4).  Points count for three rounds only (one dropped round).

                7.0.2  Bump up finals series, 6 minutes each run.  2 cars to bump up each time.

7.0.3  Track limit.  All heats/races are to be limited to 10 vehicles max.   Small tracks may have a lower number of vehicles (track limit) allowed on the track per heat/race (i.e. 8 at Piper Rd.). 

7.0.4  In the event that entries in any class do not exceed the track limit (8 / 10), finals will not be run for that class and the class will be decided on the best 4 of 5 heats.

8.0 Series Format

                8.0.1  Points will be awarded to all drivers who compete in a (bump up) final.

                8.0.2  No points will be awarded to a driver who qualifies for a final but does not run. i.e. DNS in final = 0 points.

8.0.3  4 events will be held with the winner being the driver who accumulates the highest number of points over 3 rounds.

9.0 Driver conduct.

                9.0.1  All drivers must behave in a sportsman like fashion at all times.  Yelling, swearing and acting like a bad tempered idiot will not be tolerated and will be punished up to eviction from the series.

                9.0.2  Course cutting and hacking (deliberate or careless crashing into another vehicle) will incur a one lap penalty for each incident.

                9.0.3  This event is intended to be fun and to foster participation in the sport, particularly by new/junior drivers.

                9.0.4  Failure to marshall will result in the drivers best score being dropped from the results

                9.0.5  All drivers who enter have agreed to abide by the spirit of these rules.

10.0 Entry Fee

                10.0.1  Entry fee for seniors is to be $20 for one class and $10 for each extra class.

                10.0.2  Entry fee for juniors is to be $10 for one class and $10 for each extra class.

11.0 Trophies

                11.0.1  Trophies will be awarded to podium finishers in each class.
